“I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”
Albert Einstein
The second installment of our ‘Around the World’ series of projects sees us focus on the birthplace of Albert Einstein, Germany. Drawing on a mix of both knowledge and imagination is the essence of what Design and Make is all about, and our ready-made projects combine a number of models to allow you to easily create an ornament in your software to reflect your pride in the place you live or that you call home.
Thoughts of Germany conjure images of the sweeping Black Forest, stunning Gothic architecture, classical music, and the originators of mythical fairy tales. The Blue Cornflower and oak leaf, Germany’s national flower and tree, can be set against Germany’s iconic Schwarz-Rot-Gold tricolor to accompany the eagle, which has been a heraldic part of German iconography going back as far as medieval times.
There are a few features that we’ve built neatly into this project that will make it easy to not just reuse but also customize such as:
A recessed center within the decorative border element so that you can easily merge it with other components.
The ribbon component has three main areas for simple text customization.
This is a classical-looking wall decoration for you to make and gift to a friend or even to make and proudly display ready for Oktoberfest!
Projects are available in three file types: V3M, STL and PNG.
You will be asked to choose the correct type for your software at the
checkout.
Never lose your models again! Once a project has been purchased, members can log back in and
download to all three file types for no extra cost.
(Taxes may be applied at checkout)
