Home Cinema No 1

It used to be that home cinemas were only for the rich who could afford the big screen.  Nowadays with the dropping prices of large screen TVs, a room dedicated to movie watching is in the reach of almost anyone.

Home Cinema No 1

More and more homes are adding a room specifically to hold all of your media components from stereos to projection TVs that would surely make any of our Grandparents jaws drop to the ground.  These spaces are fondly called the "Home Cinema" or "Home Theater".

We have designed a few neat features into this mini-project that will make it even easier to use and re-use.  These include:
- Filmstrip ribbon that will wrap over most models and can be merged together to make a longer filmstrip.
- Retro sign that has a flat bottomed dished center so it will accept almost any model and will also let you get the most "Z" depth out of the added model.

To get you started we put together this short video showing you how to create a simple but interesting layout using this project's models.
