Deep in the wood an epic battle is about to take place. A young male elk wanders into a clearing that just happens to be located in an elder elks territory.
Before the young elk realizes the still of the moment is interrupted by the crashing sounds of the elder making his way through the woods to defend what has been his for many years! With the first crash of antlers the experience of the senior elk is more than obvious and before the young elk knows it he is bolting for the woods.
With this project you can retell this story through a carving showing the strength of these two animals and the beauty of the wild. Battles like this are an everyday happening in the woods even if no human is there to witness them and even in nature it’s important to still respect your elders!
